The Professional Progression
As a player, Marteese Robinson experienced what it was like to be evaluated, recruited and ultimately selected by a professional baseball organization.
His career eventually brought him to the other side of the evaluation process.
Robinson moved into professional scouting and baseball operations, progressing through roles involving area scouting, scouting coordination, crosschecking, professional scouting and ultimately Director of Professional Scouting.
That progression gave him firsthand experience not only playing the game, but evaluating professional talent and understanding how baseball organizations make personnel decisions.
