Quick Answers

Common Recruiting Questions

When should we start the recruiting process?

Freshman year is not too early to start thinking about it. The formal outreach window depends on division, but development, academics, and building a target list should start early.

Is a paid recruiting service worth it?

Only if it's honest and specific to your player. Generic mass-email services rarely produce results. Personal, evaluated guidance is a different product.

How much video do I need?

Quality over quantity. A short, well-produced 3–5 minute reel with a full-game link is more effective than an hour of unedited footage.
